Shu Spicy Pot, Publika & Aman Suria: Blazing-Hot Deliveries

Ready to sizzle up your next meal? Shu Spicy Pot now offers affordable deliveries from Publika and Aman Suria, bringing the popular hotpot experience to your doorstep.

This is your hottest bet for a mala meal at home - Shu Spicy Pot shares 50% of the delivery fee with customers after the first RM5. For example, if the fee charged by the third-party delivery platform is RM15, the customer only has to pay RM10, as Shu Spicy Pot will absorb RM5.

Shu Spicy Pot offers its own in-house deliveries, keeping efficiency higher and costs lower - throughout the Movement Control Order, patrons can enjoy 50% off the delivery fee.

Use the savings to stock up on various sets featuring Pork Belly, Pork Shoulder, Chicken, Beef, Fish Fillet, Mixed Seafood or Vegetarian selections, costing RM25-RM30 each.

Pick your hotpot base to customise each set in flavours like Mala Dry, Mala Soup, Pork Bone Soup or Tomato Soup. Each set comes with Cucumber Salad, Shu Herbal Tea, and your choice of steamed rice or instant noodles.

Other meal options include Mala Fried Rice or Noodles with Seafood or Beef, plus specialities like Sichuan-Style Shredded Potatoes, Sichuan Hot and Sour Fish, Sichuan Sautéed Pork and more.

Check out the full menu above. Delivery is available across the Klang Valley - contact Shu Spicy Pot in Publika at 019-333-3955 or Aman Suria at 012-682-2871

Fun fact: Shu Spicy Pot is named for the ancient state that is Sichuan Province.

The Shu Spicy Pot experience begins with a brilliant base for cooking the meat and vegetables - our recommendation is the Mala Dry Pot, relying on a secret sauce developed over months with dozens of ingredients. Spicy without overpowering the natural flavours of everything in the pot.

There's a fine selection of quality a la carte items to pick for your pot, from pork belly, pork shoulder, chicken, beef and squid to premium possibilities like New Zealand lamb shoulder, tiger prawns and Australian wagyu beef, freshly cooked to order in your pot.

Separately, Shu Spicy Pot features a Self Pick section where you can mix and match items like lotus roots, seafood tofu, salmon balls and crab balls at RM5 per 100 grams.

The hotpot can be savoured with a selection of carbs that spans steamed rice, potato starch noodles, glass noodles, handmade ramen and knife-shaved noodles.

Besides the Mala Dry Pot, there are three other hotpot bases - the four-hour slow-cooked Pork Bone Soup; the Mala Soup that blends Shu's special mala paste with pork bone soup; and the Tomato Soup for a milder, sweeter base.

For the Mala Dry Pot and the Mala Soup, customers can choose the spice level, from the non-spicy sauteed garlic, to the mild to the crazy. Regular is recommended - hot enough for a distinctive mala kick without punching out your palate.

Dine-in patrons in future can enjoy an Eat All You Can promotion from 11am to 4pm for RM35 nett and 5pm-10pm for RM45 nett. It's a terrific bargain - choose any amount of Self Pick items, with an unlimited selection of proteins and carbs (excluding premium items such as wagyu beef). Eat All You Can also entitles customers to a free flow of non-alcoholic drinks from the fridge, including sodas and iced teas.

For alcoholic refreshment, the Tsingtao beer pairs perfectly to soothe the Sichuan spiciness (RM14 per serving; six for RM66, or 12 for RM120).

Beyond hotpot, Shu Spicy Pot's recently launched Special Menu features intriguing temptations like the Sichuan Hot & Sour Fish (RM28). Slurping the soup starts off sour, then the spiciness kicks in, courtesy of Shu's own peppercorn oil, partnering well with the fleshy fish.

You'll also want to try the Mala Xiao Long Xia, where crayfish is mixed with mala at a very fair price of RM88 for 500 grams or RM148 for one kilogram. This is also available now on the delivery menu.

For a single-plate meal, try Shu's fried menu - the Wagyu Beef Fried Rice (RM30) is bursting with garlic galore, mixed not only with wagyu beef but Taiwanese sausage. The secret to this recipe is the use of wagyu oil extracted from the beef, making it intensely addictive.

Speaking of addictive, Shu's sides are also well worth sharing and snacking on. The Shu Signature Chicken Wings (RM16) pack a mean crunch, sprinkled with BBQ powder and chilli flakes for robust dynamics. We can also imagine merrily munching on the Shu Mala Gizzard; Cucumber Salad with Sichuan Sauce; Prawn Crackers Fuzhok; and Fried Chicken Skin, whether in the comfort of our living room now or in Shu Spicy Pot's setting someday later this year.
