Rakuzen
Deck the halls with delightful Japanese delicacies: Rakuzen's kitchen elves have something special planned this Christmas - an omakase-style menu crafted specifically for the ss15 Courtyard outpost! The seven-course extravaganza showcases autumn-to-winter highlights that may potentially kick off with the Zensai Moriawase (tofu, winter melon with miso and clam gratin), followed by the Sashimi Moriawase (perhaps a selection of amberjack, salmon belly and sweet prawns), segueing into the Mushimono, featuring steamed ebi shinjo shrimp dumplings with mushrooms and mountain yam.
A hearty main course for a heartwarming holiday: Choose from a yakimono plate of Saikoro Steak (diced tenderloin) with house-made miso sauce or Grilled Atlantic Flat Fish with cream sauce, then round out the proceedings with assorted tempura and a rice cake with roasted unagi presented with clear soup. Hokkaido Red Bean Soup makes for a cheerful conclusion. Rakuzen's ss15 Courtyard Christmas omakase is a value-for-money feast for only RM98, ensuring you have extra cash left over to put more presents under the tree!
Naughty Nuri's
This Christmas, we'd rather be naughty than nice - at Naughty Nuri's, that is. Even Santa would be thoroughly tempted to tuck into the famed 1995 Signature BBQ Spare Ribs, a lip-smacking treat to satisfy entire tables of families and friends, completed with a spicy sambal to wrap up 2018 on a fiery note (RM49).
Since Christmas revolves around sharing communal meals with your cherished ones, there's certainly something for everyone at Naughty Nuri's, from the BBQ Satay Lilit (RM26) to the Signature Roast Pork Salad (RM28), the Indonesian-Style Nasi Goreng (RM25) to the Balinese Crispy Cumi Cumi (RM23), keeping all generations in mind for a memorable time.

Rather than a white Christmas, make it a red-hot Yuletide with The Birdland & Fat Cow, a Japanese-inspired steakhouse where charcoals are put to culinary use instead of stuffing stockings, grilling meat robatayaki-style over brilliant flames.
There might not be a chimney here for Santa to come down through, but there's still plenty of smoky pleasure to be found in The Birdland & Fat Cow's fresh fare, including premium sets of lovely Australian wagyu beef sirloin (180 grams, marbling grade 6) or luscious king prawn, prepared to perfection and rounded out with a salad, onsen egg, kamameshi rice, miso soup and a glass of wine (RM138 per set).
