The Slow Cook started out in 2015 with a fun concept: Home-made sandwiches of slow-cooked pulled pork, flavoured with sauces prepared from scratch (smoky BBQ, spicy BBQ, & apple sauce laced with cinnamon, cloves & star anise), stuffed into soft rolls or crusty baguettes, paired with hand-pickled chillies & thick-cut chips, delivered straight to your doorstep. We tried them & enjoyed them (very tender meat). But they seem to have ceased operations before we managed to write about them.
For several months in 2014, Steak & Bread delivered gourmet ciabatta sandwiches comprising sous-vide beef & chicken around Subang - hearty meals for convenient lunches & dinners. Sadly, Steak & Bread too is no longer currently running.
