If you visit SS15's new Sangkaya coconut ice cream parlour, take a close look at its brick wall backdrop. You'll notice the outline of an entrance; push on it & you'll find Subang's current secret sanctum: a strange speakeasy-style lounge called Jibril.
But this isn't a cocktail bar - Jibril turns out to be a no-liquor zone, serving mocktails like the Potter (RM6; non-alcoholic beer infused with butter) & Monroe (RM9; non-alcoholic white wine with strawberry & satsuma oranges), plus coffee creations like a Gingerbread Latte (RM7), paired with, say, kaya-coated waffles (RM6). It has the potential to mature into a fun destination.
June 2015 Update: Note that waffles are currently no longer available at Jibril, but other desserts are.
