T42, Bukit Jalil

Welcoming vibes, wholesome cooking: T42 is a terrific fresh face in Bukit Jalil.

T42's lei cha is lovely - fresh textures galore, courtesy of long beans, sweet leaves, black-eyed peas, pickled radish and peanuts, flooded with mint basil soup over steamed rice; for RM15, this might be the neighbourhood's most soul-satisfying bowl, heartwarming in its earthy, natural flavours.

T42's flagship linguine is tossed in a bunga kantan sauce that's thickened with tomatoes, carrots and sage for a clear, aromatic tang, blessed with a bounty of large prawns for a striking-in-crimson platter (RM25).

Banish thirst with vibrant-hued sparkling-water beverages that come with cubes of house-made jellies crafted with flavoured teas - L.I.P. (Love in Provence) is layered with fresh passion fruit, blue pea extract and lavender jelly (RM13), while Ms. Rosie blossoms with Oshadhi-brand rose water, lychee syrup, rose buds and rose petal jelly (RM13).
